At Windsong Travel, we believe travel can do more than just take you to new places—it can change lives and help protect our planet. That’s why we’ve created Travel for Good, an initiative that combines the joy of exploring the world with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

At Windsong Travel, we believe in the power of travel to transform lives and protect our planet. Through our Travel for Good initiative, we’re committed to making a positive impact by supporting inspiring organisations like Ocean Sole, Kobe Tough Beads, Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and the Manji Foundation. By collaborating with these remarkable groups, we help create opportunities to give back and support sustainable practices, wildlife conservation, and community empowerment.

It’s travel that combines adventure with purpose, making a difference to people, communities, and the environment.

Looking ahead, Travel for Good is set to redefine purposeful travel. This innovative programme will empower our clients to engage in meaningful experiences that leave a lasting impact—whether by contributing directly to important projects or immersing themselves in enriching cultural encounters.

Windsong Travel is proud to partner with Adventure World’s Travel with Purpose initiative, marking a meaningful step towards creating impactful and enriching travel experiences

At Adventure World we travel to some of the most precious parts of the world, experiencing stunning landscapes, wildlife, history, culture, and people. We know that tourism can have both an exceptionally positive and potentially negative impact on people, wildlife, and the planet. Our intention is to make travel sustainable for the long term.

Kobe Tough Beads

Kobe Tough Beads empowers women in Kenya’s Maasai and Nairobi communities by providing sustainable livelihoods through handcrafted beaded products. Born from the need to address climate change impacts and economic hardships, the initiative helps Maasai women earn income, support education, and reduce harmful practices like child marriage and FGM.

From creating Maasai-beaded Apple Watch bands to launching a ceramic bead division during COVID-19, Kobe Tough Beads supports over 400 artisans, combining traditional craftsmanship with fair trade principles to create resilience and opportunity.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a world-renowned organisation dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants and other wildlife in Kenya. Their efforts go beyond animal care to include habitat preservation, anti-poaching initiatives, and community education. By visiting this remarkable sanctuary, you can witness their life-changing work firsthand and contribute to the protection of wildlife and conservation of ecosystems.

Ocean Sole

Ocean Sole is an inspiring social enterprise that transforms discarded flip-flops into stunning art and functional products. By upcycling ocean-bound waste, they not only protect marine ecosystems but also provide sustainable livelihoods for local artisans in Kenya. A visit to Ocean Sole offers a unique opportunity to witness creativity in action and learn about the significant impact recycling and sustainable business practices can have on the environment and communities.

The manji Foundation

The Manji Foundation is committed to transforming lives through education by supporting children from underprivileged families in remote areas of Kenya. By providing access to quality education, the foundation empowers these children to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
